 In an explosive interview with Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, Juan Rubiales López described his nephew as 'a man obsessed with power, luxury, money and even women.' Describing his nephew as a 'boy' and calling for 'generosity' amid global backlash against his actions, Juan added: 'I think he needs a social reeducation programme and re-education in his relationship with women.' The scathing comments came after Rubiales' mother was rushed to hospital on the third day of her hunger strike in protest against what she called the 'inhuman' treatment of her son.
